One thing about Jupiter-it is always changing. The appearance is similar to perhaps pouring oil on water-the swirling is similar to what Jupiter is like. The clouds are always changing with spots, festoons, whirls and the like providing hours of entertainment. That is if you are entertained by such things. Shot during the 2016 season with a 6.3″ telescope. Oh yes, that is one of the Galilean moons off to the side there…forget which one. The four Galilean moons are always entertaining and can bee seen in good binoculars with a steady rest.
